DAY #1:  Arrive San Jose Airport- Private Transfer to Arenal Volcano (3 hours)

The Arenal Volcano is active since 1968, it constantly ejects gases, water, fumaroles and explosions with pyroclastic material emissions, and sometimes the eruptions are accompanied with powerful thunders. The biggest and heaviest material falls close to the crater. As the lava flows down it slowly cools off. A short hike in one of the trails close to the volcano area will give us the chance to enjoy some forest and the activity around it.

At Baldi Hot Springs you will enjoy a healthy and relaxing soak. This tour includes: transportation, naturalistic guide, park & hot springs entrance fee and dinner.

What to bring: long pants, light sweater, hiking shoes, camera, binoculars, sun lotion, repellent and raincoat.

The Sky Trek Canopy Tour starts with the Sky Tram to reach the top of the Arenal reserve, then begins a tour of adventure full of adrenaline above the treetops, which consists on a system of zip lines, that allows you to observe the rainforest and its landscape from a different perspective, safely in an innovative and different system.

The tour includes 8 cross-sectional cables that together have a total length of 1.7 miles with distances from 100 to 2460 feet, and with a maximum height of 660 feet, which exceed the treetops providing a panoramic view of the Arenal volcano and lake. DAY #4:   Private Transfer: Arenal to MalPais (Nicoya Peninsula) (5 hours)
