DAY #1:  Arrive San Jose Airport- Private Transfer to Arenal Volcano (3 hours)

      * 3 NIGHTS:  (2 rooms) The Lost Iguana Resort - includes daily breakfast buffet

ARENAL VOLCANO:  this amazing volcano has been active since 1968. It constantly ejects gases, water, fumaroles & explosions with pyroclastic material emissions & sometimes the eruptions  are accompanied with powerful thunders. The biggest and heaviest material falls close to the crater. As the lava flows down it slowly cools off. A short hike, on one of the many trails close to the volcano area, will give us the chance to enjoy some forest and the activity around it.

BALDI HOT SPRINGS:  here you will enjoy a healthy and relaxing soak in the many thermal pools, of which they have many differentiating temperatures.                                  

SKY TREK CANOPY ZIP-LINE TOUR:  this fantastic tour starts with the Sky Tram, a gondola trip to reach the top of the Arenal reserve, then begins a tour of adventure full of adrenaline above the treetops, which consists on a system of zip lines, that allows you to observe the rainforest & its landscape from a different perspective, safely in an innovative and different system. The tour includes 8 cross-sectional cables that together have a total length of 1.7 miles with distances from 100 to 2460 feet, and with a maximum height of 660 feet, which exceed the treetops providing a panoramic view of the Arenal volcano and lake.

 

DAY #4:   Private Transfer: Arenal to MalPais (Nicoya Peninsula) (5 hours)

       * 4 NIGHTS:  (2 rooms) Hotel Essence - includes a fabulous daily breakfast buffet                            

              ACTIVITIES:  3 Days Surf Lessons

                                    ATV Rental or Horseback Riding

           

DAY #8:   Private Transfer- Malpais to SJO Airport  (1 hour)
