The offshore fishing out of the Tamarindo/ Flamingo region is rich in Sailfish, Yellow-fin Tuna, Wahoo and Dorado. It is known be to be the magnificent Blue Marlin catch and release area, that international sport anglers have long associated with in Costa Rica.
CC Vacation Services charters boat trips off-shore, with local and very knowledgeable captains, providing some of the best deep sea fishing opportunities in the region. Anglers can also do some fishing closer to shore. In-shore fishing in Tamarindo often land Roosterfish, Bonito and/ or a giant Cubera Snapper

THE BEST GOLF IN THE REGION: HACIENDA PINILLA GOLF (15 minutes south of Tamarindo) An excellent golf course virtually “in your backyard” completes the exclusive atmosphere for lovers of this sport. This is a true, 6,800-meter masterpiece by Mike Young, who has designed some of the finest golf courses in the southern United States. His characteristic emphasis on detail led him to build a course where each hole was designed to conform to the slopes and contours of the natural landscape of Hacienda Pinilla. The frequent risk/reward situations offer different challenges every time you play and the trees, apart from offering refreshing breaks, also represent natural obstacles.
RESERVA CONCHAL GOLF (15 minutes north of Tamarindo) Enjoy the thrill and convenience of world-class golf at the Reserva Conchal Golf Club. The Reserva Conchal Golf Course is a truly memorable golfing experience, designed in the classic tradition of the game by Robert Trent Jones II.
