Costa Rican fishing grounds are famous for the numbers of Sailfish, but there is also a good chance to hook into a world class Marlin. These waters also hold large game fish, such as Dolphin fish (Dorado), as well as several species of Tuna and Wahoo. Deep sea fishing in Costa Rica will also offer opportunities to tangle with Roosterfish, Cubera Snapper and Broomtail Grouper.

In close proximity to Tamarindo are many of the most popular National Parks and pristine beaches in Costa Rica. The National Parks are famous for their beautiful beaches and abundance of wildlife. The seas are usually calm, and pleasant for an exciting day of deep sea fishing.
